Patient can only be referred to the service while still in hospital, or within 5 days of a hospital discharge.
The maximum duration of ICS is 12 shifts, to be chosen between day-shifts (8am to 8pm), night shifts (8pm to 8am), or both. Approval for extension has to be granted by AIC.
Service provided by well-trained foreign healthcare assistants.
ICS operates 24/7, island-wide. Sundays, Public Holidays are subject to surcharge.
